HGV Max Members with Dual Membership

If you have duel memberships in The Club, Extraordinary Escapes and HGVClub, you’ll continue to make reservations on two separate Club websites based on the points you’re using. For example, you’ll make a reservation using The Club Points/Resort Points on this site and you’ll need to log in to club.hiltongrandvacations.com to make a reservation using your HGV ClubPoints.

What is HGV Max?
HGV Max is an exciting membership program that gives Members access to more properties in more destinations and discounts across Hilton’s portfolio of resorts.

How do I become an HGV Max Member?

If I become an HGV Max Member, does this change any of my existing fees?
Your Club Dues and some transaction fees may change depending on the timeshare interest you currently own. 2024 HGV Max Club Dues are $299, which includes all reservation transaction fees when staying at HGVClub and The Club properties. Please refer to the latest version of The Club Member Directory, available on the Member Information page.

How is HGV Max different from my membership in The Club?
HGV Max is a new program within The Club that provides Members with Hilton discounts, automatic Hilton Honors status and the ability to use your points in more places, including Hilton Grand Vacations properties. As an HGV Max Member, you'll also be able to convert your points to Hilton Honors Points for use at nearly 7,400 hotels and resorts across the Hilton family of brands.

What are some of the HGV Max features that are available for Members of The Club with HGV Max benefits?
The features that are currently available to Members of The Club with HGV Max benefits include:

• An expanded portfolio of properties that features a new HGV Max Reservation Window starting six months before check-out (exceptions apply) at properties associated with HGVClub.
• Complimentary reservations at in-network resorts worldwide (some properties may only be booked by contacting a Club Counselor).
• An annual allotment of complimentary Guest Certificates (based on your membership tier).
• HGV Max Rate with Hilton providing 10% savings off the regularly published rates when making reservations online at nearly 7,400 Hilton hotels and resorts.
• Hilton Honors™ Points conversion using your points at Hilton hotels and resorts.

Will my Member benefits as part of The Club go away if I don't join HGV Max?
Your current Club membership will continue to exist, and you'll continue to access the benefits associated with your membership, as noted in The Club documents.

If I become an HGV Max Member, will I lose my existing benefits?
If you join HGV Max, most of your Club benefits will remain the same. For more questions, please fill out our Inquiry Form. I'm a Diamond Member. Am I automatically an HGV Max Member?
You must make an additional purchase to be in the program and there are different ways to do so. For more questions, please fill out our Inquiry Form. I own resale points with Hilton Grand Vacations. Am I eligible for the HGV Max program?
Resale points are not eligible for HGV Max program benefits unless a new vacation ownership is purchased with HGV. For more information, please fill out our Inquiry Form. I'm a Member of The Club. If I join HGV Max, will I have access to the Embarc Collection?
Access to resorts within the Embarc Collection, including those that have been rebranded to Hilton Grand Vacations Club, was phased into HGV Max in late 2023. Inventory within the HGV Max program is based on exchange usage among Members with HGV Max benefits to maintain the integrity of the cross-booking platform, so availability at Embarc properties is limited through 2024. As more Extraordinary Escapes Members join and travel using HGV Max, availability at Embarc properties, including those that have been rebranded as Hilton Grand Vacations Club, will grow for HGV Max Members.

I’m a Member of The Club. If I join HGV Max, which properties will I have access to during the HGV Max Reservation Window?

Will HGV Max impact inventory availability for existing Members of The Club?
Current Diamond Owners have the same access to existing properties they’ve always had, and Members of The Club are able to continue booking stays during their Home Collection and Home Resort Advantage reservation windows (for specific reservation windows by property, visit Member Information). Members with HGV Max benefits are able to confirm reservations at the start of the HGV Max Reservation Window (six months before the check-out date at most properties), subject to availability. We always recommend booking as early as possible.

Is there a way to join HGV Max without making an additional timeshare purchase?
We're currently working on additional options for Members to join HGV Max. Once details are available, we will share them with Members of The Club.
