Terrain

Some pathways are uneven and therefore difficult to access with some external steps to access areas in the gardens. No speed bumps on-site.

Communal Areas

Reception
Accessed by a set of five marble steps with a hand rail or a portable ramp to the side of the building. Portable hearing loop. Touch screen can be altered for easy use by wheelchair users.

Bar/Restaurant
Via Reception – one level. Please note the toilets are downstairs, approximately 20 stairs. There are no toilet facilities on ground floor level.

Snooker Room
Via Reception - one level.

Tennis Courts
Accessible on one level through the gardens however the terrain to this area is not ideal for wheelchairs as uneven and varying surfaces.

Squash Courts
Access on ground level to courts. Changing rooms can be access by twenty internal stairs.

Leisure Centre
Access all on ground level, including changing rooms and gym. Pool hoist. Handrails to pool steps. Assistant available on request. Separate disabled toilet and shower in both men’s and women’s changing areas. There are panic buttons in the disabled changing rooms and poolside which are connected to Reception.

Proshop
One step into shop.

Golf Changing Rooms
Men: Step up to changing rooms, once inside all on one level.
Women: Step up to changing room, once inside all on one level.

Parking

Car parking to lodges is a short distance from the lodges. For guests staying in the main house there is parking directly outside the main building. Access through an electronic gate.

Suitable for travellers with restricted walking ability who may need a wheelchair. Some areas within the accommodation and exterior are accessible. They have electric beds, adapted bathroom and special high backed chairs (kitchen units/work surfaces are standard height).
