Q: How many points do I need for a cruise?
A: It's entirely up to you depending on the cruise you choose and your level of membership in THE Club®. Please refer to Important Information regarding the maximum number of points allowable. If you don't have enough points you may pay the balance by credit card. The number of points needed depends on the cruise you select and your membership in THE Club®.
Q: Can I apply my points to the cost of a cruise for the person traveling with me?
A: Yes. Your points are applied toward the cost of the entire cruise, regardless of how many passengers are traveling with you.
Q: Are there any limitations to the cruise line or itinerary that my points can be used toward?
A: Points can be used toward any cruise purchased through Diamond Resorts travel services–subject to the rules governing the use of your points.
Q: Can my points be used toward the purchase of airfare accompanying my cruise?
A: Yes, but only for air purchased through the cruise line using their bulk fares.
Q: What happens if our plans change?
A: Points used through this program are non-refundable if no travel protection plan is purchased. We always recommend that you purchase CSA ProtectMe Plus to protect your points and travel expenses. Click here to learn more.
Q: Is there an exchange fee for using this program?
A: Yes, $100 per cabin, regardless of how many passenger/occupants for Standard members, $75 for Silver and $50 for Gold. This is FREE for Platinum members.
Q: How do I get started?
A: Research your cruise vacation with our online cruise booking facility, and then speak with a cruise counselor by calling Diamond Resorts travel services at 1-877-374-2582 and selecting the option for travel.
Per point redemption value is valid through December 31. Points may be redeemed for cruises (travel services) until March 31 for Standard members, May 31 for Silver members, July 31 for Gold members and September 30 for Platinum members. The redemption value of points as quoted is valid until December 31 and is then subject to review. After July 1, points can only be redeemed from your next year’s allocation by borrowing points from the next calendar year. Points allocated in the current year may be redeemed for reimbursement for cruises booked during the applicable member benefits booking window, for cruises with travel dates this year and next year. Reimbursement will be issued within 30 days after travel is completed. For benefit details please refer to the ‘At A Glance Diamond Loyalty Benefits For Members Of THE Club®' chart on page 19 in the Member Benefit Directory or online under My Benefits>Diamond Loyalty. Members may exchange up to 50,000 points, or up to their annual allotment, whichever is less, for any combination of benefits. There is a non-refundable processing fee of $100 per stateroom booked for Standard members, $75 for Silver and $50 for Gold. Platinum members receive FREE processing for their exchange. Diamond Resorts retains the unilateral right to cancel or amend this program at any time.
